Present Simple

S + V.1(s/es)

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน เป็นความจริง เป็นประจำ เป็นปกติ

She plays to pino every day.

Keyword: always, usually, often, every, sometimes

Past Simple

S + V.2

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตและจบไปแล้ว

She played the piano last night.

Keyword: yesterday, last week, last year, ago

Future Simple

S + will + Inf.V

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่คาดว่าจะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต

She will play the piano next week.

Keyword: tomorrow, next week, next month, soon

Present Continuous

S + is/am/are + V.ing

is ใช้กับประธาน He/She/it/เอกพจน์ am ใช้กับประธาน I are ใช้กับประธาน You/We/They/พหูพจน์

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นตอนนี้ กำลังทำอยู่ตอนนี้

She is playing the piano now.

Keyword: now, at the moment, currently, right now

Past Continuous

S + was/were + V.ing

was ใช้กับประธาน I/He/She/it/เอกพจน์ were ใช้กับประธาน You/We/They/พหูพจน์

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในอดีต (ระบุเวลา)

She was playing the piano at 5 o’clock yesterday.

Future Continuous

S + will + be + V.ing

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่คาดว่าจะกำลังเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต (ระบุเวลา)

She will be playing the piano at 5 o’clock tomorrow.

Present Perfect

S + have/has + V.3

้้have ใช้กับประธาน I/You/We/They/พหูพจน์ has ใช้กับประธาน He/She/it/เอกพจน์

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่องจากอดีตถึงปัจจุบัน/พึ่งจบลงไปหมาดๆ

She has just played the piano.

Keyword: since, for, just, yet, already, ever

Past Perfect

S + had + V.3

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่องในอดีต จบก่อนมีอีกเหตุการณ์ตามมา มันใช้คู่กับ Past Simple

She had played the piano before he came.

Keyword: before, after, until

Future Perfect

S + will + have + V.3

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่คาดว่าจะเกิดต่อเนื่องในอนาคตและคาดเดาเวลาจบ

She will have done it by this evening.

Keyword: by tomorrow, by next week

Present Perfect Continuous

S + have/has + been + V.ing

้้have ใช้กับประธาน I/You/We/They/พหูพจน์ has ใช้กับประธาน He/She/it/เอกพจน์

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่องจากอดีต-ปัจจุบัน-อนาคต เป็นระยะเวลาหนึ่ง

She has been playing the piano for 2 hours.

Past Perfect Continuous

S + had + been + V.ing

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่องในอดีต เป็นระยะเวลาหนึ่ง

She had been playing the piano for an hour when he came.

Future Perfect Continuous

S + will + have + been + V.ing

ใช้กับ: เหตุการณ์ที่คาดว่ากำลังเกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่องในอนาคต เป็นระยะเวลาหนึ่ง

She will have been playing the piano for 2 hours tomorrow.
